>2 May 16, 2011 Our ranch to Big Spring, TX Camera icon Texas RV Park - Site #B - on our way to the Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree near Amarillo, TX
May 17, 2011 Big Spring, TX to Canyon, TX Camera icon Palo Duro RV Park - Site #A10 - VERY handy to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. Decent RV park
May 19 2011 Canyon, TX to the Figure 3 Ranch Camera icon Figure 3 Ranch - We're here for the Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree
May 22 2011 Figure 3 Ranch to Grants, NM Grants/Cibola Sands KOA - Site #8 - Outstanding stop! They will cook you a meal and deliver it to your RV! Great food! Also a continental breakfast available. Really nice owners.
May 23 2011 Grants, NM, to Moab, UT Camera icon Spanish Trail RV Park - Came here for a couple of days and stayed for a couple of weeks! This is a hidden gem and a destination RV park. It is beautifully maintained (Swiss owners) and many of the sites surround a very large grass field (we were in #99). Lots to see in the area (an hour to Harper's Ferry) and the interesting Luray Caverns is nearby
June 5, 2011 Moab, UT to Montrose, CO Camera icon  Centennial RV Park - Wonderful campground where we always stay when Jeeping the San Juan mountains. It's located about ten miles south of Montrose and maybe 20 miles north of Ouray. It's convenient to shopping in Montrose, but handy to sightseeing
July 1, 2011 Montrose, CO to Silverton, CO Camera icon A&B RV Park - This is a very small and popular RV park in the heart of the historic mining town of Silverton. Usually they book up months in advance be we were lucky to get a spot over the July 4th holiday for two weeks. The sites are very tight, but then again we didn't spend much time in the coach - we were always out doing something
July 18, 2011 Silverton, CO to Gunneson, CO Camera icon Palisades Senior RV Park - We're just killing time someplace new while we wait on the All-4-Fun off-road event to start at the end of the month (near Salida, CO.) Palisades is a very, very nice park but it is off the main drag, a tad tricky to find the first time, and there isn't just a whole lot of stuff to do nearby. We hit some trails but they were all about a 30 minute+ drive to access
July 30, 2011 Gunneson, CO to Salida, CO Camera icon  We're boondocking on a private ranch while we Jeep in the All-4-Fun off-road event. The gen set got a good workout - I think we put 50 or 60 hours on it in a week
August 6, 2011 Salida, CO to Canyon, TX Camera icon Palo Duro RV Park - Emergency! We are making a bee-lline back to our ranch since we think there is a problem with our water well! We just canceled two months of avoiding the hot Texas summer.
August 6, 2011 Canyon, TX to Harper, TX UGH! Home two months early and we find nothing wrong with the water well. Oh well ;-)
